Zombie Love interior page 10

Way back in 1992, I decided to write, draw and self publish my own Comic Book. This was before Image Comics and I was just leaving my animation job (Working as an animator on Gahan Wilson's Diner). Comic books had been calling me, but everyone had always told me, "Don't get into comics, they don't pay well." My thinking was, animation and video games pay really well, so why am I still drawn to comics? Long story short, control of the story. Those other professions involve tons of other artists and technicians. Zombie Love was my good friend Davey handling the publication design and my other friend Daren doing the painted covers. This left the writing, drawing, inking and so much more to me. A lot of work, but well worth it.
