Vampyrates Cover

This is the first Vampyrates image I finished back in the mid-nineties. We were to attend a Halloween night at Disneyland and my good friend Kevin couldn't decide wether he wanted to dress up as a vampire or a pirate. He decided on both. My mind instantly started racing with the whole Vampyrates storyline. I was working at Wildstorm at the time, so I asked my other uber talented friend, Tom McWeeney (Roachmill and Battle Chasers) to ink my drawing and then I colored it. I hope to get back to Vampyrates as soon as I finish up my children's book, Skink and Skunk.
